The short version
- You sign in with your Scorsa Account, which is shared with other Scorsa products.
- The Telemetry Agent records your own driving: laps, telemetry and, unless you switch it off, video of the sim’s window.
- Your data is visible to you, your teams and the people in your sessions. It only becomes public if you opt in to the public leaderboard, share a link or connect an app. Other drivers who use Murretto record your car’s timing in their sessions, just as the sim shows it to everyone in the race (see who can see your data).
- The Telemetry Agent’s push-to-talk microphone is only open while you hold the button, and its audio never leaves your PC. Your webcam is only used when you share it for a session.
- We don’t sell your personal information, show ads, or use advertising or analytics trackers.
- You can delete laps, sessions, shared analyses and coach chats yourself, and delete your whole account.
What we collect
Your account
Your Scorsa Account holds your email address, display name, avatar, how you sign in (password, Google or Discord), your two-factor settings, and any accounts you link, such as iRacing (customer ID and name) and Discord. Murretto adds your plan, your in-sim iRacing name, your privacy and alert switches, and your display preferences.
Your driving
From the Telemetry Agent, or from .ibt and CSV files you import in the browser:
- Telemetry for each lap: speed, pedal and steering inputs, gear, position on track, fuel, tyre and other channels the sim provides.
- Lap and sector times, and session details: sim, series, track, car, weather and track conditions.
- Car setups: the setup a lap was driven with, and setup files from the folders the agent syncs.
- What the sim shows every competitor about the other cars in your session: their names as the sim displays them, car numbers, positions, gaps and lap times. This is how the timing tower, race replays and race reports work.
Imported files are read in your browser. Only the laps taken from them are uploaded.
What you create
Analyses, notes and drawings on charts, race-control reports and decisions, team race plans, marketplace listings, orders, reviews and coaching notes, and saved coach chats.
Payments
Card details go to Stripe and never reach us. We keep the order, its amount and status, and for sellers the Stripe account ID and whether payouts are enabled.
Technical information
Our servers and providers log requests (IP address, browser, time and the address requested) for security and troubleshooting. For each AI request we record its size and cost, not its content, to enforce usage limits. If you switch on a phone or browser alert, we store the push address your browser’s push service gives us.
The Telemetry Agent on your PC
The agent reads the telemetry each sim publishes for tools like it, iRacing’s .ibt telemetry files, and your sims’ setup folders. It uploads only while you are signed in. Its Murretto page lists everything it is sending, and each item has a switch on the page that owns it.
- Onboard video (on by default, switch off on the Capture page). The agent captures the sim’s window only, never your desktop or other windows, at up to 480p. It streams live, without sound, to the people watching your session and uploads lap videos according to your “Lap videos” setting.
- Game audio in lap videos (on by default, switch off with “Record game audio” on the Capture page). Lap videos carry the sim’s own sound. Only the sim is recorded, never your microphone or other apps, but the sim’s voice chat is part of its sound, so what other drivers say there can be in your lap videos. Anyone who can watch a lap video, including through a share link, can hear it.
- Face cam (off, asked every session). On the Capture page you can share a webcam for the current session. It streams live, at up to 360p and without sound, to the people watching your session, including race control and a league broadcast you take part in. It stops when you stop it or close the agent, and the agent never turns it back on by itself. Murretto doesn’t save it; viewers can rewind the last two minutes while they watch.
- Session tape (on by default, switch off on the Capture page). A record of each session: your telemetry and, as the sim shows them, the other cars’ positions and timing. It is uploaded for race replays and race reports, and the copy on your PC is removed once it is sent. Our live relays keep the same record of every live session.
- Radio clips (iRacing only, off by default). When you turn this on, the agent records iRacing’s own audio output, never your microphone or any other app, and cuts it into one clip each time a car transmits. The clips include what other drivers say on the sim’s voice chat. They are uploaded for the race’s race-control desk. If you install a speech model on your PC, clips are transcribed there.
- Engineer push-to-talk (off until you set it up). The microphone is open only while you hold the button, for up to 15 seconds. Speech is turned into text on your PC and the audio is discarded; it is never uploaded or saved. The text of your question may be sent to us to word an answer (see AI features). If you turn on “Share engineer radio with my pitwall” (off by default), the engineer’s lines and your questions are sent as text to the people watching your session live and kept in its replay.
- Remote pit service (iRacing, off by default). When you arm it, pit requests from your crew are applied in the sim.
- Race-control data (off by default). For a league session, publishes extra per-car data to the stewards’ desk.
The agent keeps its settings, sign-in token and a log file in your Windows user folders, and holds uploads there until they are sent. The log file stays on your PC unless you send it to us. Signing out of the agent removes its sign-in and stops uploads.
How we use it
- To run Murretto: store and show your laps, run the live wall, analysis, race control, teams, leaderboards, planning, the marketplace and alerts.
- To produce estimates, such as tyre temperatures, fuel use, pit loss and race predictions. We use recorded sessions, including the timing of other cars, to build and check the models behind them. Where these figures are shown beyond the people who can already see a session, they are aggregates that don’t identify drivers.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and enforce plan and usage limits.
- To contact you about your account, security and changes to Murretto. Scorsa also sends occasional product news; every one has an unsubscribe link.
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who can see your data
- You, on every device you sign in on.
- Your teams. Teammates see the full data of your laps, your live sessions, setups in the team garage and the team’s race plans.
- People in your sessions. Drivers who share a session with you, such as co-drivers in an endurance car, see that session’s laps.
- Live viewers. Your team, and league broadcasts you choose to take part in, can watch your live timing, telemetry, onboard video and, if you share it, your face cam. Watching is free; viewers don’t need a paid plan.
- League officials. In a league session published to a race-control desk, the league’s stewards see the session’s data, incidents, radio clips and, if you share it, your face cam.
- Other drivers’ sessions. When other drivers in your race use Murretto, their sessions record the field as the sim shows it to everyone, so your car’s position and timing, under your name as the sim displays it, appear in their sessions, their team’s views and live links they share. Their race reports show your car only as its number and class until you claim it and agree to be named. Agreeing shows your name and iRacing customer ID to anyone with the report’s link and lets your name appear in other people’s shared views, until you withdraw it on your Account page.
- The public leaderboard (off by default). If you opt in, your display name, lap times and conditions are public. You can also choose to share full telemetry and setups for those laps. Switching the leaderboard off hides everything at once.
- Anyone with a link you create. Share links open a lap, an analysis, a live session or a race report without an account. You can revoke them. On a public analysis link, anyone with the link can add notes; a guest is identified only by a random ID made in their browser.
- Other viewers. People on the same live wall or shared analysis see who else is there and, on an analysis, each other’s cursors. You appear by your display name or by the part of your email address before the @; guests appear as “Guest” and a short code.
- Apps you connect. If you connect an AI app, such as Claude, to Murretto at our connect screen, or create an MCP access key, that app can read your sessions, lap times and telemetry: the same data you can see in Murretto, read-only. The app’s own privacy policy covers what it does with it. See and revoke connected apps and keys under Settings on your profile.
- Link previews. When a share link is posted in Discord or another app, that app fetches its preview: title, image and a short video.
- The team Discord bot. If your team adds it, team members’ personal bests, lap records, laps and race plans can be posted in the team’s Discord server, where Discord’s own policies apply.
- The marketplace. When you buy coaching, the coach sees the lap and note you send. When you sell, buyers see your listing and seller name.
- Scorsa staff, only as needed to run, secure and support the service, such as setting plans or reviewing seller applications.
AI features
The Coach, the session assistant and the race engineer’s worded answers use language models run by DigitalOcean’s AI inference service. When you ask a question, we send DigitalOcean your question, the recent conversation and the lap measurements the answer needs, such as lap and sector times, telemetry summaries and session conditions. DigitalOcean analyses them and returns the answer. We don’t send your email address, password or payment details.
- Coach chats are saved to your account so you can reopen them. They are private to you, and you can delete any chat.
- The race engineer’s calls run on your PC. Only free-form questions go to our server, and they reach the model only on plans that include AI; otherwise they are answered from templates.
- Apart from saved coach chats, we keep only the size and cost of each AI request.
- Apps you connect (see who can see your data) use their own AI service, not DigitalOcean.
- AI answers can be wrong. See the AI section of our Terms.
Services that handle data for us
These providers process data on our behalf, or you connect to them directly while using Murretto:
- Supabase: our database, file storage (telemetry, video, setups, radio clips) and sign-in.
- DigitalOcean: App Platform hosts the web app, the live relays and the Discord bot, and its AI inference service runs our AI features.
- Cloudflare: carries and protects web traffic on its way to our servers.
- Stripe: payments, seller payouts through Stripe Connect, and fraud prevention.
- Google: Google Maps Platform photorealistic 3D tiles, loaded by your browser straight from Google when you open a 3D view on a plan that includes it (Google sees your IP address and the area shown); Google Fonts, loaded on every page; and Google sign-in if you use it.
- Esri and OpenStreetMap: satellite and street map tiles for track maps. Your browser loads them directly, and our server loads Esri imagery to draw map images.
- Discord: sign-in and account linking if you use them, and the team bot.
- Browser push services (Google, Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft): deliver the alerts you switch on. The alert’s content is encrypted for your browser.
- ZeptoMail by Zoho: sends Scorsa emails.
- Your browser’s speech recognition: voice input in the browser, such as “Ask by voice” in the Engineer pane and race-control dictation, uses your browser’s built-in speech recognition. Browsers such as Chrome and Edge send that audio to their maker’s speech service to turn it into text; Murretto receives only the text.
- iRacing: if you link your iRacing account, we fetch your iRacing results and profile through iRacing’s data service.
Where your data is stored
Our database and files are stored in Sydney, Australia. Our web servers, live relays and AI inference run in the United States. Some providers, such as Stripe, Google and Discord, process data in other countries as well. Using Murretto means your information is transferred to and processed in those places.
How long we keep it
- Account and profile: until you delete your account.
- Laps, telemetry, sessions and setups: until you delete them or your account.
- Onboard lap videos: your fastest lap in each set of conditions keeps its video for as long as your account exists. A set of conditions is the same sim, track, layout, car, fixed or open setup, sky, team, tyre compound, track wetness and a 10 °C band of track temperature. Other lap videos are kept for 7 days on the free plan, 90 days on Premium and 365 days on Pro, Team and Ultimate. Videos behind a live share link are kept while the link works, and videos uploaded before 25 September 2026 are kept. If a paid subscription ends, your videos keep its window for 30 more days; after that, or when any other plan ends, the free-plan window applies from the next daily clean-up.
- Radio clips and race-control records: with the race until they are deleted.
- Coach chats: until you delete them.
- Share links: until you revoke them or they expire.
- Alert push addresses: until you switch the alert off or your browser withdraws them.
- AI usage records and orders: as long as we need them for limits, accounting and legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
- See and correct your details on your Account page and in the Scorsa Account Centre.
- Delete laps, sessions, shared analyses and coach chats from within Murretto, or your whole account (below).
- Get a copy: download any lap as CSV from your Library. For a full copy of your data, email us.
- Control sharing: the leaderboard, telemetry and setup switches and your consent to be named on race reports on your Account page, share links, connected apps and keys, and the agent’s video, face cam, session tape, lap video, radio and engineer switches.
- Alerts: every alert kind is off until you switch it on, each with its own switch.
- Emails: unsubscribe from product news with the link in any of them. Account and security emails still arrive.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to object to or restrict some processing. Email us to use any of them. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or the data protection authority where you live.
Deleting your account
Delete your account in the Scorsa Account Centre. It deletes your Scorsa Account and your data in every Scorsa product:
- Your profile, sign-ins, linked accounts and settings are deleted.
- Your laps, telemetry and team radio disappear from every app, team view and leaderboard.
- Team sessions you started stay with your team, without your laps.
- We keep an anonymised copy of your driving data, no longer linked to you, to improve our models, and records we must keep by law, such as orders.
First you need to cancel any active subscription, hand over or delete teams and leagues you own, and ask us to close a marketplace seller account.
Children
Murretto isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you are under 18, use Murretto with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change what we collect or how we use it, we update this page and its date. For significant changes we also tell you by email or in the app before they apply.
